SUMMARY

This position works directly with the entire Plant Team, particularly Supply Chain, Production, Sales & Quality to ensure Customer demands are met consistently with the right products at the right time. This Candidate is also a key member of the Leadership Team providing risk analysis and "heart beat" metric insights to the Business.

 

TYPICAL ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES & NOTES

  1. Scheduling of production lines to optimize throughput based on hourly resources, supply availability and customer demand.
  2. Manage cost through effective scheduling and optimization of raw materials.
  3. Purchase specialty items as it relates to production needs.
  4. Communicate raw material and production delays prior to commitment dates.
  5. Strategically plan (30/60/90 day) production based on sales forecast, product availability and operations capacity.

IDEAL BACKGROUND

  • 2-5+ years experience in Production Scheduling
  • 2-5+ years experience utilizing 30-60-90 Day Forecasting Model
  • Experience with KPI Maintenance & Reporting to the Business Leadership Team
  • Experience leveraging ERP/MRP Systems in Scheduling
  • Experience with People Development in a Scheduling Team or similar environment
