Process Engineer


WorldBridge Partners has teamed up to help a unique company in Ohio with their search for a new Process Engineer.   Our client supplies a high-quality range of products and services for the metals, manufacturing, refinery and petrochemical industries. Throughout its history, our client’s predecessor companies have advanced metallurgical-based technologies to provide innovative solutions for industrial challenges.   That tradition continues today at this site.


Develops and optimizes continuous production and manufacturing processes to achieve the output, quality, and cost goals of the organization. Collects production data and applies standard scientific and statistical methods to analyze, document, and diagram production processes. Identifies process bottlenecks and devises solutions to resolve. Recommends changes or upgrades to equipment, work methods, or other aspects of the process to improve efficiency and utilization of resources including labor, energy and raw materials. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement process improvements that increase quality, yield, productivity, and efficiency
  • Lead and/or support incremental improvement initiatives to optimize existing processes
  • Serve as Quality Manager back-up when needed
  • Ensure compliance with Company and regulatory safety and environmental standards



  • BS degree in metallurgical engineering required; MS or MBA a plus
  • Strong extractive metallurgical process/technical skills required
  • 3-5 years of experience preferred
  • Manufacturing experience a plus, especially Union plant experience


  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and facilitation skills
  • Data analysis skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Good follow through skills, as well as heightened attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Project
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 procedures, OSHA and EPA regulations a plus
  • Occasional travel required
