Leadership position with a key player in ITAD

This allows them to assist customers in responsibly disposing of their obsolete equipment, but also ensures they recover any remaining asset value through responsible and environmentally sound refurbishment and sales. THE OPPORTUNITY – As our client’s Wisconsin based General Manager, you will be responsible for the oversight of their Janesville, WI based asset recovery, asset management and asset remarketing programs. Your team will include sales reps, IT technicians, shipping employees, administrative support and accounting personnel. At present, the role is 80% operational and 20% sales focused. Over the next 3 to 5 years you will assist the company grow from 5 to 8 facilities nationally and have the opportunity increase your responsibility and career options accordingly. This could be described as an “Intrapreneurial” opportunity with an established yet fast growing company in an increasingly growing sector.
Key initiatives include taking the lead in recommending channel strategy for the future; developing sales plans focused on sources that represent the best opportunity for new product services development; development of external markets for the sale of refurbished equipment. You will negotiate sales agreements for out bound sales and revenue sharing agreements with recycling clients. You will lead a smart, focused and highly energetic team that is driven to achieve their market share and revenue goals. You will report to the company president.
Base salary of $90,000 to $105,000 with a 20% bonus opportunity.
- Knowledge of and experience in the ITAD industry
- Understanding of ISO 14001, ISO 9001, and E-Steward preferred.
- Well-connected throughout the ITAD industry, so you are plugged in to the frequent shifts in the marketplace and can leverage those relationships to maximize sales in an often-dynamic global market.
- Create pricing strategies.
- Has sold new or refurbished hardware directly to end users or through a dealer network
- Willing to travel 20% to 30%.
